PREPARATION
- Sand: Lightly sand the dry color coat with 220 grit sandpaper or abrasive pad to remove imperfections. Skip sanding if the painted surface already feels smooth.
- Wipe Clean: Wipe away dust with a clean cloth for a smooth top coat application.
APPLICATION
- Stir & Apply: Mix well, then apply 1-2 even coats of top coat with your preferred method (brush, roller, or sprayer).
- Drying: Let the first coat dry completely (1-3 hours, check label). Apply a second coat if needed.
CLEAN UP
- Wipe: Remove any splatters and drips from your work area.
- Wash: Since our Stone Coat Finishes Top Coat is a convenient polyurethane and acrylic based formula, simply clean brushes, rollers, and equipment with warm soapy water immediately after use. For a more thorough cleaning, you can use dish soap as well.
