Yes! Stone Coat Flooring Epoxy Kits work great on concrete and plywood subfloors.
Important note: We don’t recommend pouring over hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), or click-lock vinyl flooring, since those materials expand and contract, which can cause the epoxy to crack, split, or peel over time.
For concrete, you can fill expansion joints with our Floor Patch Epoxy Gel for a seamless look—or keep them intact by choosing our Flake Flooring Kits, which flexes with expansion joints beautifully.
An added bonus? Our epoxy flooring kits protect your floors from stains, boost durability, add traction, and are easy to clean with just soap and water.

Our Metallic Marble Flooring Kits use a greater volume of epoxy that needs to flow and self-level, which can cause it to pool on uneven floors. Flake flooring doesn’t have this issue—it works with your floor’s slope to create a strong, great-looking surface that’s durable, stain-resistant, easy to clean, and adds traction.

You can enjoy a healthier installation with our low-odor, low-VOC flooring epoxy products. No respirator required during application, making it more comfortable for you to work.
We do however highly recommend wearing vinyl nitrile gloves and eye protection during the application process, and adding a respirator mask when sanding our products.

For optimal results, it is recommended to wait for a minimum of 24-36 hours after applying Stone Coat flooring products before walking on it and a minimum of 7 days before parking a vehicle on the surface.
It is also important to avoid turning the vehicle's wheel without any movement during the initial 30 days. This waiting period ensures the complete curing of all coats of epoxy and top coats, allowing the floor to withstand weight and movement without sustaining any damage.
