PRO TIPS!
To achieve optimal results, we highly recommend demoing your existing tile or worn-out fiberglass tub/shower surround down to the greenboard drywall. Be sure to follow the same waterproofing steps that you would use for a traditional tile shower to ensure a moisture-proof seal. This is also a great opportunity to adjust the height of your shower head, shower niche, faucet handles, and handrails.
Keep in mind, when working with epoxy on vertical surfaces, there’s a risk of the design running due to the force of gravity, which can create an uneven appearance. To avoid this, it’s best to pour the shower panels horizontally and install them vertically after they’ve fully cured.
