Important Prep & Cleaning Notice:
For proper adhesion and a flawless finish, DO NOT use acetone at any stage of your epoxy flake floor project.
Instead, use 91% isopropyl alcohol for:
• Cleaning and prepping the surface before application
• Wiping between coats or layers
Acetone can interfere with bonding and compromise the final result. Stick with 91% isopropyl alcohol to ensure durability and a professional-grade finish.
PRO TIPS!
Want to add another top coat layer? You may recoat the surface as soon as it is dry to the touch, and within 24 hours of the previous application. If recoat time has been exceeded, lightly sand the surface and wipe clean with acetone or 91% isopropyl alcohol before the optional next application.
