Roll on two coats of this translucent white primer as the ideal prep step before applying Stone Coat Epoxy Undercoat, ensuring your existing countertops are ready for an impressive update.
As the upgraded replacement for the XIM UMA Primer featured in some of our older tutorials, our versatile bonding primer offers exceptional quality and reliability, allowing you to start your project with confidence. The low-odor, low-VOC formula is ideal for indoor applications on both residential and commercial surfaces, making it a versatile choice for renovation projects.

- Quick and easy water-based cleanup.
Application:
- Sand the existing countertop surfaces with 60-grit sandpaper.
- Clean thoroughly to remove dust, grease, and other contaminants.
- Fill cracks or voids with Bondo® All-Purpose Putty, sanding smooth.
- Stir Bonding Primer & Sealer well—no thinning needed.
- Apply the first coat with a 1/4 Inch Nap Microfiber Roller, using a 2-Inch Chop Brush for corners. Let dry for 1 hour, then sand lightly with 220-grit.
- Apply the second coat, dry for 2 hours, sand with 220-grit, to prep for Epoxy Undercoat.
- Clean tools and spills immediately with warm soapy water.
